It seems like you can pick up anything in Akihabara, as long as you have the cash for it. However, in this case you only have to part with a mere €25 to get a 1GB Express mini card TurboMemory module.
This might not seem like a whole lot of money, but it would increase the price of a notebook by a lot more, since it wouldn't just be the notebook manufacturer adding cost here, but the whole supply chain until you can purchase it.
If you're lucky, you'll have easy access to a free Express mini card slot in your notebook if it doesn't already have a TurboMemory module fitted.
