A Japanese company has come up with a massive 21.5-inch Android device, which it calls a tablet, although we are really not sure it is one.

The Kouziro FT103 packs a 1080p 21.5-inch screen and it is powered by a dual-core Texas Instruments processor at 1GHz. A front facing camera is also on board, along with HDMI, microUSB and microSD ports. So, other than the gargantuan screen, it’s pretty much a run of the mill Android tablet.

Also, Kouziro markets the device as a tablet for content consumption, browsing the net and watching movies. It is basically an all-in-one, sans keyboard and mouse.

The asking price is $439, which sounds rather reasonable for a full HD Ice Cream Sandwich tablet, or whatever you might want to call it. It would be a great choice for dorm rooms and bedrooms, if only it had a physical keyboard and a DVB tuner.
