HP has announced that it will introduce dozens of webOS-based devices over the next year.

HP CTO Rahul Sood said that the company would start offering the new devices soon and that some of them will be exctining.

“The stuff that excites me the most are the new form factors… Over the next 12 months we will see the makings of a new portfolio and the beginning of something great again,” he said.

Although it’s a pretty optimistic announcement, HP is still quiet about the specifics and it’s not exactly clear what HP has in mind. We’re guessing Sood is talking about a bunch of tablets and oversized smartphones.
