Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 4 firmware accidentally installs to wrong devices
Crashes them hard with blue and black screens
Earlier today, Microsoft released the first firmware updates of the year for its latest Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices. These were automatic updates that were supposed to add battery charging enhancements, a more accurate fingerprint sensor driver, and support for Microsoft’s Surface Pen on the Surface Pro 4 device.
