The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an 8-core/16-thread SKU with a 4.7GHz base and a 5.2GHz Boost clock. It packs 32MB of L3 cache with 64MB of 3D V-Cache and has a 120W TDP. It will also feature the "2nd Generation 3D V-Cache Technology" and we have yet to see how this will impact performance. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D has already been listed in Europe at around €550 inc. VAT, and some earlier performance numbers show it being around 8 percent faster in gaming and 15 percent faster in multi-threaded apps compared to the 7800X3D.
With reviews going live just a day before availability, it will be interesting to see how well it sells on pre-orders and on launch day.
