In case you missed it, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D is just a notch below the flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D, and it is a 12-core/24-thread SKU with a 6+6 core configuration in two CCDs. The one CCD comes with 96MB of 3D V-cache, while the other CCD sticks to 32MB of standard L3 cache, leaving it with a total of 140MB of cache. Those cores tick at 4.4GHz base and 5.6GHz boost clocks, and it has the same 120W TDP.
As detailed by Videocardz.com, AMD's Ryzen 7000X3D lineup has dropped in price significantly since the launch, and at $409.99, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D is a great deal considering it is close to the Intel Core i7-14700K. The flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D is now selling at $599, while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an 8-core/16-thread SKU, has dropped down to $369.
