Intel could have scrapped Meteor Lake 6P+8E CPU

by on22 May 2023

According to a leaked roadmap

An alleged Intel roadmap that has recently leaked online shows that Intel could have scrapped a specific Meteor Lake-S 6P+8E SKU, giving credit to earlier rumors that it has been canceled and replaced by an Arrow Lake CPU with the same configuration.

A rather fresh roadmap, showing updates for 2023 (week 18th), is heavily redacted and while the OneRaichu has a pretty good track record when it comes to such leaks, you should still take it with a rather big grain of salt, especially since it has been removed later. As said, the latest leak does line up with previous rumors. Earlier rumors also suggested that Intel could be working on 6P+16E SKU, that could be launched alongside the Arrow Lake-S 8P+16E SKU.

Hopefully, we'll hear more details as we draw closer to the launch which is scheduled for sometime in the second half of 2023.
