While we had most of the details about the new WD Green SN350 SSD lineup, details about the actual NAND or the controller are still unknown.
As noted, we are looking at a standard M.2 2280 form factor with PCIe 3.0 interface. The actual sequential read and write performance vary depending on the model, with the top model, 960GB one, peaking at 2,400MB/s for read and 1,900MB/s for write. The random 4K performance tops at 340K IOPS for read and 380K IOPS for write.
The endurance rating is at 80TBW for the 960GB model, 60TBW for the 480GB one and 40TBW for the 240GB one. The MTFF is rated at 1.0M hours.
The entire WD Green SN350 SSD lineup is backed by a 3-year warranty and priced at $43.99 for the 240GB model, $54.99 for the 480GB model, and $99.99 for the 960GB model. This price makes the WD Green SN350 one of the more affordable SSDs on the market
The new WD Green SN350 SSDs should start appearing in retail/e-tail soon but so far, only the WD Blue SN550 and the WD Black SN750 are available at Amazon.com.
