Platform for Intel Evo-qualified laptop

Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC) has been known for small form factor (SFF) desktop systems but, now, Intel has introduced its new NUC M15 Laptop Kit, codenamed Bishop County, that will help laptop partners to bring Intel Evo-qualified laptops to the market.

Based on Intel's 11th gen Core Tiger Lake CPUs with Iris Xe graphics, the Intel NUC M15 Laptop Kit platform includes everything that laptop makers and system integrators need to meet Intel Evo requirements, and while laptop makers will still need to apply for Evo qualification, the NUC M15 Laptop Kit will help to push things in the right direction, it's claimed.

The platform also includes Intel Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, 73Whr battery with fast charging, Thunderbolt 4, USB Gen 2, fast wake-up time, and more. It also comes with support for PCIe 4.0 storage and LPDDR4X-4267 memory support.
