Back at Computex, Intel already revealed some information regarding this CPU, including the fact that it will pretty much be the Core i9-9990K, coming with 8-cores and 16-threads, but with a higher base clock and running all cores at 5.0GHz Turbo clock. Just like the Core i9-9900K, it will end up with UHD 630 IGP, but the actual TDP and the price are still unknown.
Intel is obviously targeting gamers with Core i9-9900KS and claims that it should offer "better and more consistent" frame rates.
With the Core i9-9900K hitting close to $500 in retail, it will be interesting to see what kind of price-premium will Intel ask for running all cores at 5.0GHz, but we guess we will know soon enough.
