According to Phone Arena the Snapdragon 830 could support as much as 8GB of RAM, which suggest that Microsoft may try to stuff as much RAM in its phone as possible. Few people actually need that much RAM, in fact some people don't even have it in their PC, but it does look good for the marketing.
Most of this is rumour and speculation, based around a few well placed leaks. What we do know for certain is that Redmond wants the three expected Surface Phones to make more impact in the top end than it has managed so far. To do that it wants to have a hardware package which could give the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6 a run for its money.
With that in place, and a decent business orientated OS it could do well on the business market, something Apple has been dying to do for ages.
