According to our sources, AMD will only launch quad-core A-Series APUs for now, while the dual-core A4 and E2 should follow later.
So, it appears that AMD will only launch A6- and A8-series Llano parts for now, while the rest of the lineup, mainly the A4-series and the lone E2 part should launch sometime later, probably in August. We are not sure if all A8- and A6-series APUs will show up in retail as of next week, as some of our other sources are only talking about A6- and A8-xx50 parts.
In any case, the dual-core A4-series parts and the E2 will have to wait a bit. As noted earlier, the press embargo for the APUs should be lifted on Thursday, 30th of June, while the retail/e-tail should get it next week, as of July 4th.
