Intel's upcoming Sandy Bridge series processors are scheduled to launch in a month's time, at CES, but some Malaysian retailers have already started selling them.
Last week we reported that a number of LGA 1155 motherboards were already shipping in Europe, but no processors were on sale in Europe or anywhere else for that matter. However, Malaysian shoppers can already upgrade to new Core i7 and Core i5 series parts.
The fastest and priciest of the lot is the Core i7 2600, a 3.4GHz part with a price tag of about $300. The Core i5 2400 and 2300 costs about $195 and $185 respectively.
