Atom 510 and 410 as and the DDR3 versions are taking over the essential market for Intel. We can only assume that DDR3 versions will get Atom 515 and Atom 415 branding taking into the account that N475 and N455 are the notebook DDR3 models.
Regardless of
branding, the new desktop Atom means that Intel rushes to release product
discontinuance notice and finish the commercial life of Atom 230 and 330 CPUs.
Back in January Intel released the product discontinuance notice for both of
these old Atom CPUs and it plans to release end of life status at the end of Q1
2010, or end of this month to be precise.
These will
probably be some leftovers here and there but as of Q2 you should not be able
to make a new order of Atom 230 and Atom 330 dual-core CPUs. You will have to
get Atom 410, 510 or its DDR3 versions.
