AMD launched five new CPUs on Monday and although they are not the fastest parts around, they are worth taking a look at. ExtremeTech has tested all five of them and its verdict is mostly positive.

The dual-core Phenom II X2 555 is a great overclocker, while the cheap and cache-less Athlon II X3 440 and Athlon II X4 635 offer exceptional value for money. The 910e is also an interesting product. It is an affordable quad with decent performance and yet it has a TDP of just 65W.
