The new, all integrated Atom CPU that now has graphics and the rest of the chipset integrated on the same chip, will launch of January 3rd. This looks to be a big day for Intel as they plan to launch many new products.
Since many manufacturers are eager to show their N450 single-core netbook designs, Intel simply wants to announce it as it can be expected
that the systems based on this CPU should be available at launch or shortly
after.
The two chip platform needs much less space which is
exciting for netbook manufacturers, but you won't see much better battery life
or performance as the CPU is roughly the same.
It will sell for $64 at launch, which is 20 USD more than
N270, but bear in mind that N450 also has chipset on the chip that in real life
also costs you some money.
