After announcing the 32nm process for 2010, TSMC also said that it has 22nm in store for 2011, similar to Intel's plans.
TSMC's vice-president, Rick Tsai, also said how the company's R&D squad will expand by 30%, which coupled with 15% boost of design division should help them in meeting their 22nm aim for 2011.
According to the company roadmap, 22nm should arrive in Q3 2011, the first 32nm logic circuits are due in Q4 2009 whereas regular 32nm chips are expected in Q1 2010.
