AMD plans to launch total of eight CPUs based on both AM2+ and AM3 socket and in Q2 2009 it plans to add some more to the offer.
The ones that are launched in the first week of January are Phenom II X4 940, 3GHz quad core and Phenom II X4 920, 2.8 GHz quad core both in AM2+ iterations.
AMD will also launch AM3 based Phenom II X4 810 at 2.6GHz quad core together with Phenom II X4 805 at 2.5GHz quad core, both 45nm and with 6MB of L3 cache and two three cores Phenom II X3 720 at 2.8GHz Black edition and Phenom II X3 710 at 2.6GHz non black. Both of these CPUs will have 7.5MB total cache and they should launch today.
Two remaining ones to launch in Q1 are Phenom II X4 925 which is 2.8GHz version of Deneb with 8MB of total cache and Phenom II X4 910 that works at 2.6GHz and has 8MB of cache.
The 3GHz and 3.1GHz Phenom II X4 will come in Q2 2009.
