All 95W TDP

AMD plans to launch a total of six AM3 Phenom II-based CPUs and if they stick to the schedule they should be ready by February.

They are all 95W TDP CPUs and they can support both DDR2 1066 and DDR3 1333, and even faster when overclocking is in the game. Four out of six are quad-cores based on Deneb, but it looks like 2.5 and 2.6GHz iterations will have a total of 6MB L2+L3 cache while the top two at 2.6GHz and 2.8GHz will have the full 8MB.

We suspect that Phenom II X4 800 series will have 4x512KB cache and 4MB L3 cache, while the remaining 2 MB will simply get disabled, to make a performance difference. AMD will simultaneously launch two 2.8 and 2.6GHz clocked Phenom II X3 tri-cores, as well.

AMD claims that AM3 versions of Phenom II’s should be available in February time, so let’s hope that they can stick with the schedule. These are the launch speeds, while the 3GHz Phenom II X4 comes a bit later.
