Intel spokesman Chuck Mulloy said yesterday that the company has "serious questions" about AMD's Abu Dhabi spin-off deal.
The companies are bound by a cross-licensing agreement and AMD pays royalties to Intel for the pleasure of using its x86 tech. Mulloy says Intel has serious questions about the transaction and that it will protect its intellectual property rights.
Intel has asked AMD to go public with the deal, but AMD declined, so Mulloy could not comment on the deal in detail.
