Post-Core i7 era

We wrote here about Intel's price cut that you can expect on October 19th. There will be two more dates that are important in November. The first one includes Bloomfield / Core i7 launch in mid-November and after that, Intel plans to launch three new, less impressive CPUs.

The November 30th introduction should be the last one in 2008, as this is already dangerously close to Xmas.  On this date, Intel plans to introduce a new quad-core called Q8300 at 2.5GHz, FSB 1333 and 4MB cache for $224.

At the same time, it plans to launch a new Pentium dual-core E5300 with 2.6GHz core clock, FSB 800 and 2MB cache. This CPU will launch with a killer price of $86.

The last CPU to launch on this date is Intel dual-core Celeron processor E1500 with a 2.2GHz core clock, FSB 800 and 512KB cache. It will cost $50 at launch.
