Intel's original plan was to introduce QX9650 the Yorkfield part that runs at 3.0 GHz, has 12 MB of cache and FSB 1333 as the only desktop part based on 45 nanometre but the last roadmap update has suggested that there will be some changes.

The new plan involves two new parts clocked at 3.2 GHz and one of them has standard FSB 1333 while the second one has FSB 1600 and both have 12 MB of cache.

There won't be any slower Yorkfields in 2007, as Intel plans to unveil them in January 2008 but it will launch a whole range of Harpertown CPUs from 2.0 to 3.2GHz.
