The top Wolfdale dual core 45 nanometer speed will rock at 3.16. This is at least what Intel is telling its partners at this time.
The 3.16 GHz version will run with FSB 1333 and will have 6
MB of cache, three per core. This CPU is scheduled for Q1 2008 and it will be
followed by 3.00 GHz version, 2.83, 2.66 and two more with the lower clock that
Intel plans to announce at later date.
We know that the slowest of them all will have 3 MB of cache
and will probably be the new Dual core 2160 successor or similar.
