Back in July we implied that AMD will have to ask for additional financing and you can read it here.
It indeed happened less than a month after we expected it but indeed AMD will issue 1.5 billion notes plus some cash to cover the debt to Morgan Stanley Senior Financing.
This means that by the end of the quarter AMD will be under 800 million in cash and will need to seek funding or in worst case scenario the company will fine a buyer who will cover the debt.
Money wise, the situation for AMD is really critical and we hope for AMD’s sake that Barcelona K10 can save the day.
