ATI plans to redraw its market strategy as the company is about to make a different price positioning of its future products.
In the future ATI’s high end will cost $300+ depending on the version and if its superior to Nvidia it will probably be even more expensive.
ATI’s midrange will now cost form $150 all the way to $299 depending on the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) and finally mainstream now embraces all the cards from $79 to $149.
I guess this plan didn’t mentioned the lowest category, usually called entry level, but we are sure it will mean that all the other cards will cost $79 or less as it is the case now.
