Intel will cut the prices one more time in
almost one month from today. It will adjust the prices of three CPUs and it
will introduce the new one. E2180 will show up on that date and will be
available for $87.
To make some space for 2.0 GHz 1 MB cache
FSB 800 E2180, the E2160 will drop from $87 to $77. Celeron 430 based on Core 2
Duo and FSB 800 and 512 KB cache will drop from current $50 to 45 and Celeron 420
will drop from current $40 to $35.
The other CPUs won’t change its price and
this might be the final date when Intel calls off the price wars.
