Forbidden to use on this flight

One of the many flights that I took this year was slightly different. The flight attendant made an announcement that it is forbidden to use Galaxy Note 7 onboard on Niki airlines – a subsidiary of Air Berlin.

Apollo Lake is a second generation 14nm SoC for entry level tablets and computers and it serves the market that used to be known as Atom processors. Nowadays, Intel calls these CPUs Celeron and Pentium and the new generation was made available on Friday.

Fossil has launched  updated Android Wear watches and started to sell them. Most of the models use a 45mm case size and they have an unknown SoC but an educated guess suggests it would not be a surprise if it features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100.

MediaTek has some decent network products and Asus and Xiaomi have a few midrange routers based on its SoC (system on a chip). Now it looks likely that Microsoft’s One S will use two MediaTek SoCs for  wireless connectivity. 

MediaTek Helio X20 inside

Xiaomi has just released a new version of its Redmi Note series  called Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Pro. This is a 5.5-inch phone with anHelio X20 that sells for $178.96 for the 16GB version with 2GB RAM.
