During a panel discussion at the Mobile World Congress 2023, Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus said that their first foldable phone will have "the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience", and that it must be a flagship phone. He noted that the company wants to launch a device that aims to be "at the pinnacle experience of today's foldable market".
It's true: our first foldable is coming out later this year!

TechCrunch managed to squeeze out a few more details, where Liu noted that the foldable would have the form-factor of a book, so we are looking at the Galaxy Z Fold device, or simply a folder rather than a flipper.
There are no more details about the device besides the first teaser picture released during the OnePlus 11 global launch. Hopefully, we'll hear more about it soon.
