Measuring 292x201x8.5mm and weighing in at between 775g and 790g, depending which CPU you pick - the Core i7 might need beefier cooling) - the new Surface Pro 7 is still an ultra slim and light 2-in-1, mostly due to its 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with 2736x1824 resolution (267PPI), and 3:2 aspect ratio.

Hardware-wise, you'll get a choice between three Intel's 10th gen Core CPUs, the dual-core Core i3-1005G1, quad-core Core i5-1035G4, and the quad-core Core i7-1065G7. The dual-core Core i3 comes with Intel UHD Graphics, while quad-core Core i5 and Core i7 pack Iris Plus Graphics. According to Microsoft, we are looking at 40 percent higher CPU power (probably on the Core i7) and over 2x faster graphics performance.

These CPUs can be paired up with 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a choice of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of SSD storage.

It also comes with Windows Hello face authentication camera (front-facing), 5.0MP front-facing camera with 1080p full HD video, 8.0MP rear-facing autofocus camera with 1080p full HD video, dual far-field Studio Mics, and 1.6W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium support.

The biggest update on the connectivity side is the USB-C, but you also get one USB-A, 3.5mm jack, Surface Connect and Type Cover ports, microSDX card reader, and more. You also get 802.11ax WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. While battery capacity is not specifically rated, Microsoft claims up to 10.5 hours of battery life on typical usage.

The Surface Pro 7 is available for pre-order as of today, starting at $749, and should ship on October 22nd, at least in some regions.
