Possible Snapdragon 735 details leaked online

7nm octa-core SoC with 1+1+6 configuration

While Qualcomm has only recently unveiled the Snapdragon 730 SoC, alleged specifications of the Snapdragon 735 have leaked online, showing rather interesting core configuration.

According to details spotted over at SueggestPhone.com site, the Snapdragon 735 SoC is based on 7nm LPP manufacturing process and has a unique CPU core configuration, with single Kryo 4xx 2.9GHz core, single Kryo 4xx 2.4GHz, and hexa-core Kryo 4xx 1.8GHz clusters. It is most likely that the first two are based on Cortex-A76 while six other cores are based on Cortex-A55 design.

It also comes with Adreno 620 GPU, clocked at 750MHz, and a dedicated NPU220 clocked at up to 1GHz. The rest of the specifications include a 5G modem, Spectra 350 SIP, support for LPDDR4X 2133 memory, and support for 3360x1440 21:9 aspect ratio displays. It also supports UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1 storage, USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C, 4K encode and decode, and more. 

According to details provided, the Snapdragon 735 SoC could be announced in Q4 this year with first smartphones coming in the first half of next year.
