While it is usual for Xiaomi smartphones to be available in a couple of different versions, it is a bit strange that the company will use two different panels on the same smartphone. As was the case with Mi 5, Xiaomi will most likely launch a "Standard", "Prime Edition" and "Pro Edition" versions.

According to the latest rumor spotted by Gizmochina.com, the standard edition will feature a FHD screen, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while other two versions could end up with WQHD screen, 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.

All versions should be using a ceramic body, an 8-megapixel front camera with the IMX268 sensor and 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony's IMX386 sensor.

While these first versions are rumored to pack Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 SoC, some other rumors also suggested that Xiaomi might even make a cheaper version of the Mi 6 with Mediatek's Helio X30 SoC.
