UPDATE: The price is now back at €199, sorry if you missed it.
We talked about the Honor 4X last week, but in case you missed it, here is the lowdown – the phone has a 5.5-inch 720p display, octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage backed by a microSD slot, and a 3000mAh battery. Oh yeah, LTE support in on board as well, courtesy of the Kirin 620 SoC.
The phone is supposed to launch at €199, but Conrad is offering pre-orders at just €109, which is nothing short of ridiculous. That sort of money usually buys an entry-level device like the Moto E, but the big Huawei should wipe the floor with practically every low-end phone thanks to its 64-bit octa-core and 2GB of RAM.
We told you 2015 would be the year of commoditised Android phones and so far we like what we’re seeing. If you're interested, you can pre-order the white version here, or the black version here. [I already ordered two as gifts for my cousins, good students... Ed]
