UK retailers are taking pre-orders, but the Germans are already shipping Huawei’s bargain phone – MediaMarkt has it in stock for €99, and is willing to ship it across Germany for €2.

Yesterday we called it a Moto G killer, but today the humble Holly graduated to a Moto E killer – it’s probably the best phone €100 can buy on the continent.

(Too bad it launched just weeks after I bought my mother an LG, with an inferior spec... for €50 more. Ed)
