The wearable devices are definitely the next big thing and it became clear that Google will have such a device back at MWC, when Sundar Pichai talked about a focus on a new API for wearables, which stirred up some more Nexus smartwatch rumors.
According to a fresh set of rumors coming from @evleaks, LG should be the manufacturer behind the Nexus smartwatch and it will be based around a 1.65-inch 280x280 screen, which makes it pretty much the same size as the Samsung Gear 2, but with a slightly lower resolution. The display should be based on a classic IPS panel rather than AMOLED or e-ink.
The rest of the specification rumors are a bit sketchy but most point to 512MB of RAM which should allow it to run Android 4.4 KitKat as well as 4GB of of internal storage. According to an earlier report from the Wall Street Journal, LG will start manufacturing the Nexus watch sometime this year.
