During Mobile World Congress 2014, LG has announced that it managed to reach a total of 40 million sales worldwide with its mid-range and entry-level L-series line of smartphones.

Although not a really impressive number, LG's L-series smartphones are quite popular among those that are not looking for top of the line flagship smartphones but rather something that will bring the best bang for buck and even look good on top of it. Most LG L-series smartphones are mid to entry-level smartphones which usually have a dual-SIM version.

At MWC 2014, LG is expected to officially show its new L III series of smartphones, which should further help in increasing that L-series sales numbers.
