The smartphone will also have an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel front camera. Sailfish was developed from the MeeGo OS, which was developed by Nokia but scrapped after Microsoft paid the company to use Windows Phone on its handsets.
Sailfish OS will be completely open to the developer community, enabling it to grow and change to suit users' needs. It will also be compatible with current Android apps. The Jolla phone will be in the shops for €400, which doesn't sound cheap.
