Although it is still not clear what LG wants or actually has to show, but it has sent out invites for a US-based event scheduled to kick off on May 1st in New York city.

The the invitation does not give any hints either other than that press members are invited to "share the genius" and "capture the spotlight in true brilliance". The best guess that could be in line with the "true brilliance" suggests that it might be an Optimus G Pro launch for the US market, as it has a better/sharper display.

Of course, we might see a completely new device as well and we will probably see some more leaks as we draw closer to the scheduled May 1st event date.
