Gingerbread still powers 50.6 percent of all Android devices, while Ice Cream Sandwich has a 27.5 percent share. Jelly Bean adoption is up, but it is still relatively low at 6.7 percent. What’s more, the breakdown shows Android 4.1 with a 5.9 percent share and Android 4.2 with a tiny 0.8 percent share, thanks to a handful of Nexus devices with the latest OS.
Honeycomb and Froyo are on the way out, but the latter still commands a 10.3 percent share, which means that at least one in ten Android users are still clinging to 2010 devices.
