Galaxy Nexus sales frozen in US
Killed on the Fourth of July
Google has been forced to pull the Galaxy Nexus from its Play Store after a US judge upheld a preliminary injunction against the phone.
As of July 4, the handset is not available in the Land of the Free, but Google was quick to reassure consumers that the issue will be resolved soon. It better be, as the imminent Jelly Bean and the $50 price cut make the Nexus a very interesting alternative to overhyped superphones, with much higher price tags and older OS versions.
In case you can’t wait for Google to tweak the software and wiggle out of Apple’s injunction, you can still pick up the Nexus on Amazon and a few other sites.
