Blackberries will still have keyboards
They are just so high tech
RIM has decided that its future BlackBerry models will still offer physical keyboards.
CEO Thorsten Heins said that RIM won't lose the focus on physical keypads despite the fact that he was showing off a prototype touchscreen BlackBerry last week. The new line of smartphones due for release later this year will include both touchscreens and keypads.
Hein's told hacks that it would be wrong — just plain wrong" not to have a keyboard. The Canadian company gave developers a prototype BlackBerry in an effort to help them develop apps for the new software system.
Heins said that RIM needs to improve its marketing and he wants to hire a chief marketing officer soon.
