The stylish phone was expected to appear this month, but the move might indicate that it is not coming after all and that Apple fans in search for a white version of their beloved toy will have to wait for the iPhone 5.
However there is also another alternative. We have been hearing rumours of cheaper iPhone SKUs for weeks and Apple is expected to continue selling the iPhone 4 for quite some time after it introduces its successor.
Perhaps Cupertino is saving the white version for the more affordable SKU, in order to make it a bit more appealing once the iPhone 5 kicks in.
