Sony Ericsson announced two new photo-phones from its Cybershot line of products, C702 and C902.
C902 comes with a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash, face recognition and image/video stabilizer. It also features a media player, FM receiver and Bluetooth. It packs 160MB of internal memory and Memory Stick Micro (M2) for those who think 160MB is not enough. Its dimensions are 108 x x49 x 10,5mm and weighs 107 grams. The display is 2 inches in size with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
C702 features a 2,2 inch QVGA screen; its dimensions are 106 x 48 x 15.5mm and weighs 105 grams. Compared to C902’s camera, this one’s camera is not as good – it’s a 3,2 megapixel camera with no image stabilizer. It doesn’t even have the flash but it does have PhotoLight function that improves picture quality in bad lighting conditions. This model has GPS and comes with preinstalled Google maps. C702 will tag your pictures using the GPS, a feature you might need for your photo blogs.
Both phones will hit the shelves in Q2 2008.
