BlackBerry Storm owners are in for a big treat with the upcoming release of the 4.7.0.90 version of the BlackBerry OS. This latest version of the OS will allow Storm users the option of enabling the full on-screen keyboard in the portrait mode.

The ability to enable the full QWERTY keyboard on the screen rather than using the included SureType support has been one of the most requested features for the Storm. It would seem that RIM has been listening to its customers and is working hard to get this version of the OS ready for release.

While some leaked unofficial versions of the 4.7.0.90 OS software are floating around on a variety of sources on the Internet, we think the release might be closer than you think, according to our sources.
