LG recently announced its new touch-screen cell phone, the KP500. LG claims that this will be the cheapest touch-screen phone on the market.
Its dimensions are 106.5x55.3x11.9 mm and it weighs in at a modest 89 grams. It packs a 3-inch auto-rotating screen with 320x400 resolution and is capable of displaying 262K colors. It comes with a 3MP camera, Bluetooth, integrated motion sensor, FM radio, USB port and a microSD slot for memory expansion. When you turn the phone sideways, the screen displays QWERTY keyboard layout.
This is a GSM phone working on 4 frequencies (850/900/1800/1900MHz), and it comes with 39 preinstalled languages. It will launch in Europe sometime in October, and should be available worldwide soon after the European launch.
