Verizon Wireless announced that they’ve begun shipping their new handset. It’s a recently announced touch-screen device called LG Dare.
Its dimensions are 104 x 56 x 13 mm (4.1 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches), and it weighs 107 grams (3.8 oz). It packs a large display 3 inches in diagonal, with 240x400 pixel resolution and 260K colors.
This handset features a 3,2 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreutznach lenses, flash, face recognition software and panorama mode. The camera can capture video of up to 120 fps, and you can also play them in slow motion. Its working frequencies are CDMA Dual-Band 1900/800 MHz.
The phone will be priced around 200 USD, with a two-year contract, of course. It’s available through Verizon’s online shops as of now, whereas retail shops will have it on the shelves on July 3rd.
