Theme Park bans PDAs
Sets up PDA police
A British theme park has decided to ban all PDAs over the next few weeks.
Alton Towers is piloting a "PDA Free Zone" between May 25th - June 1st inclusive, to encourage parents to disconnect from the office and reconnect fully with their families.
The park has set up a PDA police force enforce the ban, and any adult caught using a PDA whilst at the Resort will be asked to report to one of five "PDA Drop Off Zones" where they can safely leave their PDAs for the day.
Russell Barnes, Divisional Director for the Alton Towers Resort, said that it was important for parents and kids to focus on nothing more than having the best possible time. He added that it was important that parents leave their work behind.
