General Mobile has recently announced DSTW1, a dual-SIM supporting communicator. This communicator is powered by Windows Mobile 6 Professional. General Mobile’s Website says that it will come in two versions – one with working frequencies GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, the other one on GSM 900/1800/1900MHz.
The dimensions are 117mm x 61mm x 18.1mm and it weighs 144 grams. It packs an integrated 2 megapixel digital camera and a 2.8-inch touch panel display with 65K colors. Internal memory is ROM: 256MB and RAM: 64MB. Apart from internal memory, both models feature microSD slot for additional memory. With the phone you’ll receive a 1GB microSD card.
The phone also comes with a media player supporting numerous media formats, such as: MPEG4, 3GPP, WMV, MP3, WAV, WMA, ASF, AMR and MIDI.
The manufacturer claims that the phone can handle 4 hours of conversation or 150 hours in standby on one charge. It’s set to launch on the 8th of March 2008, but the price is unavailable for now.
