Apple's iPhone launch in China is being stalled because China Mobile does not like the company's revenue sharing arrangements. China Mobile has been locked in talks with Apple for ages, but cannot reach an agreement.

China Mobile Chairman, Wang Jianzhou, told reporters on the sidelines of the GSMA Mobile Asia Congress in the Chinese territory of Macau that it will take some time for the two sides to iron out their differences. Apple needs China Mobile because it is the country's biggest phone carrier. However, it is also involved in deals with other operators in the region.

The company plans to release the iPhone in Asia in 2008.
