Motorola predicts Q2 loss
Not selling well outside the US
Motorola Inc. forecast a loss for Q2 and lower than expected revenues, and indicated that it does not expect that its mobile device business will be profitable for the remainder of 2007.
Motorola cited weak sales of cell phones in Europe and Asia as the primary cause.
Motorola had previously forecast that its Q2 sales would be essentially flat based on Q1 sales of $9.4 billion
