The phone is half an inch thick and the size of aniPod Nano. It will go
on sale on April 1 and will cost $300--or $150 with a two-year contract.
While the the
UpStage's screen is a bit small and it lacks a QWERTY keyboard, which means that it has to deal with Apple's clever, but unproven, software keyboard.
Generally reviewers felt that video and e-mail or messaging let the UpStage down a bit, but the approach the company takes to music far outclasses Apple's i Phone.
